Premier League Darts Finals Night 2026: Fixtures, format, prize money and how to watch or stream as Luke Littler and Luke Humphries battle for the title

Luke Humphries will be aiming to defend his Premier League Darts title at 2026 Finals Night - but three other players will stand in his way on a bumper Thursday evening when the competition reaches its climax.

Premier League Finals Night takes place on Thursday May 28 at London's O2 arena, which you can watch live on Your Site Main Event and Your Site Action from 7pm.

The O2 arena will transform as tens of thousands of darts fans descend to see one of Humphries, Luke Littler, Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price - the players who finished in the top four of the Premier League table - be crowned the champion for 2026.

Three matches will decide who takes home the huge £275k prize, comprising two semi-finals and a final.

Finals Night is a longer format than the best-of-11 legs we see in the regular rounds, with each semi-final contested over 19 legs (first to 10) before a final that is the best-of-21 legs (first to 11).

Due to being first and second in the standings, Littler and Clayton will throw first in their semi-finals.

The order of the throw in the final will then be decided by a bull-off in the practice room.

The prize fund for the entire competition is £1.25m.

Each of the four semi-finalists are guaranteed £110,000, with the runner-up taking home £170,000 and the winner claiming £350,000.

There was also a weekly winner bonus of £10,000, which Littler has pocketed on six occasions heading to Sheffield, Clayton four times, Price twice and Humphries once.

Nine-darter: Set of 18-carat gold darts worth £30,000

Some people have dominated this format, but none more so than Dutchman Van Gerwen who has triumphed on a record seven occasions.

'The Green Machine' took victory in 2013 before completing four in a row in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

He then was also victorious in 2022 and 2023, beating Price in the 2023 edition.

Of course, the most recent winner was Humphries, while the previous year Littler hit a nine-darter in the final on his debut.

Clayton, Glen Durrant, Raymond van Barneveld, Gary Anderson, Phil Taylor and James Wade have also won since the Premier League's inception in 2005.

There have been a total of 21 nine-dart finishes in Premier League history with three of them coming on Finals Night and, remarkably, five coming across the 2025 campaign.

The legendary Taylor famously threw TWO of them in the same match when he beat Wade 10-8 in arguably the greatest final of them all in 2010.

'The Power' went 180, 180 and then completed the first by finishing off T20, T17 and D18 before going the more traditional route later in the clash with 180, 180, T20, T19 and D12 for a moment of pure greatness.

The third was struck by 'The Wizard' Simon Whitlock during his semi-final victory against Andy Hamilton in 2012 as the Australian pinned the holy grail with 180, 180, T20, T15 and D18.

Then 'The Nuke' added himself to that list last year, with a T20, T19, D12 exit that added his name to an exemplary list.

The 2025 edition of the tournament delivered like no other when it came to perfect legs, with Littler, Humphries, Price twice in Manchester and Aberdeen, and Rob Cross finding perfection, while Josh Rock hit an incredible nine-dart finish on his debut in Belfast this year.

"All four players will wake up next Thursday thinking 'is today mine?' They all know they can win it. Price hasn't won it yet but we know he can," said Wayne Mardle.

"Clayton was the outsider of the field, meant to finish bottom.

"He will be the outsider next week but he will have his tail up and won't want to be written off. He won't be written off as he is that good.

"I do not have a clue but I will go with Humphries on recency bias. I love the way he is going about his business and he was good in defeat tonight.

"There was a bit of head shaking but he was good."

The Premier League concludes at The O2 arena, London on Thursday May 28 as table-topping Littler plays Price in the semi-finals, and Clayton faces Humphries in the race-to-10 legs with the final a race to 11.
