Brentford have confirmed Ryan Trevitt will leave the club this summer.

The midfielder joined the club's B Team from Leatherhead in 2021 and made five first team appearances.

He also spent time on loan at Exeter and Wigan.

Director of football Phil Giles said: "Ryan has been very unlucky over the last couple of seasons as injuries have cut short his loans.

"Without those injuries, Im sure Ryan would have been much closer to the first team at Brentford, as he is a very talented player with a fantastic attitude.

"Now is the right time for him to find a new permanent club and start to develop his career from there, and Ive no doubt once he gets playing regularly, he will have a long career at a very good level.

"Ryan will remain with us for the foreseeable future while he completes his rehabilitation, but when the time is right, hell move on and leave with our thanks and good wishes."
